Bob Bartman
President
Bob, a University of Illinois graduate, started his first service-oriented business upon college graduation. For ten years he grew a successful and well established business in his hometown. In 2019, Bob sold his first business and established Illini Rail Solutions. He recognized a need for a high quality, quick responding, mobile railcar repair company in the area. Bob oversees all company activities and is heavily involved in customer service and communication. He’s passionate about building successful relationships with customers and employees. Throughout his career he has a been able to provide solutions that are both time and cost efficient to customers. He strives to provide a refreshing experience that is rooted with exceptional customer care and promptness. Bob is married to his wife, Ashley. Together they have one son, Brooks. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing/watching sports, and coaches basketball at the local high school.
Mary Bartman
Treasurer
Mary, a University of Illinois graduate, has an extensive background and education in accounting. Mary brings more than 25 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience to Illini Rail Solutions. She has served as treasurer and/or accountant for several companies simultaneously throughout her career before committing solely to Illini Rail Solutions in 2019. Mary handles the accounts payables, accounts receivables, payroll and much more for Illini Rail. She is detail oriented and possesses exceptional organization skills. Mary loves to travel and golf with her husband, Larry. She has three children and cherishes her time spent with her six grandchildren.
Antonio Flores
Field Operations Manager
Antonio brings more than 10 years of manager/supervisor experience to Illini Rail Solutions. Antonio started at Illini Rail Solutions in 2019 as a carman and quickly worked his way to a manager position. He has extensive knowledge of railcar parts, repairs, and AAR standards/procedures. He also holds several railcar certifications. Antonio is tasked with managing day-to-day operations in the field. He has exceptional attention to detail and organization skills. Antonio leads by example and always has the customer’s best interests in mind. He keeps the crews running within the high standards/expectations that have been set for Illini Rail Solutions. Antonio is a proud father of Malakai and Mateo. He loves spending time with his family and his two dogs.
